Your first tox appointment does not need to be scary at MAD Esthetics. Let's see what you can expect:
Consultation: You will have a consultation with our Nurse Practitioner, who will assess your medical history, discuss your goals, and determine whether tox is suitable for you.
Treatment plan: Based on your consultation, the Nurse Practitioner will create a treatment plan that outlines the areas where tox will be injected, the amount of tox needed, and the estimated cost.
Pre-treatment photos: The Nurse Practitioner may take photos of the areas to be treated to use as a reference for tracking your progress.
Injection: tox is injected using a fine cosmetic needle. The Nurse Practitioner will clean the area, mark the injection sites, and inject the tox. You may experience a slight pinching or burning sensation during the injection.
Post-treatment care: You will be advised to avoid lying down or massaging the treated areas for several hours after the injection. You may also be advised to avoid strenuous exercise for a day or two. You will also want to avoid aspirin, motrin or advil during the day, and if you have a headache you can tylenol instead to avoid bruising. You will also receive an aftercare card following your first tox treatment at MAD Esthetics.
Follow-up: You may be asked to schedule a follow-up appointment to assess the results and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
It's important to note that cosmetic tox is a medical procedure, and as such, it should be performed by a qualified healthcare professional. Be sure to do your research and choose a reputable provider.
